Preserving Your Leafyhead Potions, Lotions, and Creams

Each Leafyhead lotion and potion is hand-made with love in small batches.  Because this is an all-natural product, it may behave a little differently than your usual lotion.

Leafyhead cream or lotion will stay fresh for six months or more after the date of purchase, unless it is stored in  a very warm location.  Lip balms, salves, and bath salts will last much longer.

In the summer months, or if it’s exposed to heat, the oils and the water in your lotion may separate a bit.  Simply stir them back together.  If your home is warm, you may want to put the lotion in the refrigerator for a few hours to settle it.

Don’t store your cream or lotion in a hot place (like your car).  This will encourage separation, and will make the lotion go rancid.  If you don’t plan to use your cream or lotion right away, please store it in the refrigerator.
